2. What is Known
- Odin’s Eye is the central tavern hub of Myeve.
- It is a safe, well-kept gathering place for adventurers, travelers, locals, and those looking for work, rumors, or shelter.
- The tavern is large and immediately stands out within Myeve.
- One of its tables has a crude map carved into its surface.
- A public job board serves as one of the main ways work, requests, and rumors circulate through town.
- It acts as a quest hub, information exchange, meeting place, and resting point.
- Violence does not seem to be tolerated inside.
- The tavern is owned by Amruniel, an imposing figure who dresses in black and does not tend bar personally.
- The bartender is Jax, a native witch doctor from Toki Pona Village.
- Jax has learned Common, though older notes suggest there may have been a time when he did not speak it well or at all.
- Jax possesses a stolen diamond necklace carved with a skull and tribal headdress motif.
- He wants the necklace returned to his village but cannot or will not return it himself.
- The necklace is said to hold 8 charges and can grant +10 stealth to the entire party for 10 minutes.
- Odin’s Eye is also associated with a magical scrying device known as the Odin’s Eye Orb.
- Jax gives necklaces to certain people that are tied to the Odin’s Eye Orb.
- These necklaces can be used in connection with the orb so that the orb can scry and show images of their adventures.

3. History
- Odin’s Eye became one of the central gathering places in Myeve as adventurers and fortune-seekers began arriving in the frontier settlement.
- Jax once lived in Toki Pona Village and stole a sacred diamond necklace from his homeland.
- Because of that theft, he was exiled or otherwise driven from his people.
- At some point afterward, he came to Myeve and took work at Odin’s Eye.
- Amruniel allowed him to remain and work there, though the reason is not publicly known.
- The necklace has remained tied to Jax since, and its return remains an unresolved matter.
