Minethys is a lower layer of Carceri reached by descending beyond Cathrys.
The worlds there are smaller and much farther apart.
The landscape is cold, windy, and filled with blowing yellow sand.
Visibility is poor in the sandstorms.
The wind-driven sand can choke, scour skin, and even flay the unprotected.
Wet cloth offers some protection against the worst of the choking sand.
The yellow sand and red glow of the worlds can make the orbs appear orange from a distance.
Abi described Minethys as the next layer below Cathrys.
Jesse is said to know a trickster god on the next layer, making Minethys the likely next step in the party’s search.
